Mano en Mano is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization overseen by a Board of Directors, run by staff, and supported by our donors and dedicated community volunteers.

Mano en Mano is funded through:

  • donations from families, businesses, and individuals

  • grants from foundations

  • government funding

Board of Directors

The volunteer members of the Board of Directors oversee all operations and programs of Mano en Mano. They approve the budget, hire the Executive Director, and fundraise for the organization. They are accountable for the organization’s actions. Board members serve on the board for 3 years and meet together monthly. Nominations for board membership can be shared with a staff or board member at any time.

What does 501(c)(3) mean?  Being “501(c)(3)” means that a nonprofit organization has been approved by the Internal Revenue Service as a tax-exempt, charitable organization.
