Growing and learning at Rayitos de Sol

This June, the children of Rayitos de Sol planted a garden!

With the help of Women for Healthy Rural Living (WHRL), children planted a garden to grow fruits and veggies for their families and community members accessing the Mano en Mano Food Pantry.

This is the second year Rayitos de Sol students have planted a community garden.  This year they will grow: tomatoes, carrots, zucchini and cucumbers.

We want to express our appreciation to Women for Healthy Rural Living (WHRL), for their support!
