Mano en Mano’s Latino Scholarship Fund, an affiliate of the Northeastern Dollars for Scholars Program, is established to provide renewable financial aid to both traditional and non-traditional students from Washington and Hancock Counties who self-identify as Latino and who wish to pursue post-secondary education opportunities.

Intensive English Institute
Mano en Mano awards scholarships to the Intensive English Institute at the University of Maine in Orono for four weeks of intensive English lessons and also helps students prepare for the TOEFL exam.  The month on Orono’s campus provides students with a taste of college life, lets them test themselves at advanced coursework, and helps bring their English language skills to a level necessary to continue their education.
