- Migrant Education Tutors (Washington County): We are now hiring part-time/contract tutors to work one-on-one with Migrant Education to provide supplementary education services in the areas of language & literacy development, math, and/or content areas as determined for designated students ages 3-21. Tutors can work with as few as one student and as many as five per week. Please contact us if you are interested in joining our staff as a tutor!

Employment Policies
Vacancies will be advertised in as many local, regional, and national forums as possible. Mano en Mano seeks to hire the best candidate possible for each position and recognizes the challenges and rewards that come from living and working in Washington County. All applicants will be required to submit a job application with references and consent to a background check. Strong candidates will be invited to have an in-person or phone interview with the Executive Director. Prior to employment Mano en Mano will conduct a background investigation of the applicant to meet local and state regulations, review all credentials, and contact references provided by the applicant.
Once staff members are selected, they will be provided with extensive professional development opportunities to ensure that they have the best and most current training. They will also be provided with counseling from the Executive Director to assist with finding temporary or permanent housing in the area if necessary.
